Restoring Protected Leather

When it comes to leather, there are different types and also different procedures for cleaning or restoring these leather types. Of the three basic types, Protected, Aniline, and Nu-buck, I will show an easy way someone can inexpensively restore protected leather themsThe the first picture shows a chair with a protective leather, which means this type of leather usually has a polymer coating that is somewhat flexible but over time can crack and leave unsightly crack marks.

The second picture will show you the finished results after 5 minutes of work and less than a ten-dollar investment.

The third picture will show the actual products I used.

Just for the ladies that might wonder, yes, you can do this also to old worn wallets or pocketbooks. Just need to stay with the same color, black, brown, or any other color of choice.

I hope this information will be useful to you and as always, if you are ever in need of expert information regarding the cleaning of any type of carpets or upholstery, always feel free to contact us at Alec's Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning LLC, easily accessible through the web or by calling our office at 781-871-4428
